Is a birthday coming up soon in your family? Make sure you visit your favorite restaurant's websites to sign up for their email lists, or birthday clubs. Not only will you receive special offers during the year, but you almost always receive a special coupon to use on your birthday.

I absolutely LOVE Red Robin, and I picked up a FREE burger my birthday week courtesy of a special birthday coupon I received in my email. I also received a free Coldstone Creamery creation, and a free scoop of ice cream at Baskin Robbins!

My suggestion would be to set up an email address just for company newsletters that way it doesn't clog up your regular inbox.

Game Day Greats Instant Win Game!

Kroger released a new instant win game & sweepstakes called, "Kroger Game Day Greats Program." You can play online once per day between now and February 6th. You will need to have a shopper's card to play as they electronically load your prize to your card. When you shop and buy that item it will automatically come off of your bill at checkout.

I played today, but didn't win. So I'm trying again tomorrow. Limit of 2 prizes per participant.

Turkey & Balsamic Onion Quesadillas

Note: I found this recipe over at Eating Well.
They have some fantastic recipes.
Turkey & Balsamic Onion Quesadillas

You'll Need:
1 Small Red Onion, Thinly Sliced
1/4 c. Balsamic Vinegar
4 - 10'' Whole-Wheat Tortillas
1 cup Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
8 slices Deli Turkey, preferably smoked

1) Soak your sliced up red onions in the balsamic vinegar for 5 minutes, drain.

2) Take two tortillas, and overlap the edges and heat for 45 seconds on medium high heat. Flip. Don't overlap the tortillas this time because you're going to load them. See above picture. Add 2 slices of turkey, 1/4c. of the cheese, and a 1/4 of the onions. Fold the side down to make a quesadilla. Cook for 2 minutes or until cheese is melted. Flip.

3) Cook for another 2 minutes, and that's it! Repeat to yield 4 quesadillas total!4) Serve with whatever you would like. I made sweet potato fries. Yum!
