My Dillons Run 8/24

Before Coupons: $39.94
After Coupons: $2.23

You guys! I haven't donated to the Ronald McDonald House since July!!! Luckily, I was able to fit in a quick Dillons run tonight to fix that. I promised myself I would use my "gift" of frugal shopping to help others. I have since started donating items off their Wish List. If you don't know - the Ronald McDonald House provides temporary housing for families who have children in the Neonatal Unit, or ICU. These houses are usually very close to the hospital, and allows for the parents to leave anytime to visit their child. They are a wonderful organization.

Items they will receive this weekend:

1 Box Cocoa Puffs (.48)
1 Box Trix (.48)
2 Packages Warm Delights Mini Bowls (Free)
1 Package of Yoplait Delight (.29)
8 Sobe LifeWaters (Free)
2 Cans Progresso Soup (.44 each)
2 Boxes Nature Valley Granola Thins (.50 each)
1 Bag Gardettos (.49)
1 Bag Chex Mix (Free)
2 Bags Quaker Mini Rice Snacks (.49 each)
2 Boxes Toaster Strudels (.75 each)
1 Package Pillsbury Sweet Moments (Free)

P.S. I did receive the $3.50 catalina coupon in
the mail for the Nature Valley deal.

My RMH Stockpile 6/30

Hi there! Here is an update on all the items I have purchased for free, or close to it for my local Ronald McDonald House. If you are a new visitor to my blog, then you can check out my previous posts HERE, and HERE. Keep in mind, my last run to the house was on 6/19. So I have accumulated everything above in 2 weeks time. (PS - The Sobe drinks did not last in my house, Ha!)

I've spent $4.98, and will purchase a few more items before I stop by on Saturday.

How great is that?

P.S.S. - I normally would not pay for chapstick. It was part of an online store deal, and I'm glad I didn't post it for you all because half of my order was canceled. Too many orders were placed, and the company could not handle the demand. I should have canceled the whole order, but decided not to worry about it. (This was $1.96 of my total spent!)

My RMH Stockpile

I told you I would keep you posted on the runs I make to my local Ronald McDonald House, and here I am as promised. I have to tell you that donating to this organization has really been very rewarding. My heart is full of happiness, and I'm content. You can read about my first run HERE. If you have been keeping track, then you know that I stopped by last weekend. I have accumulated everything above since that visit.

I've spent $1.97, and already have plenty of items
that I am sure they will appreciate.
How great is that?

(I will probably wait until next weekend to visit.)

My RMH Run 6/19...

I am SO excited for today.

I'm making my first donation to the Ronald McDonald House in my area. I had a wonderful conversation with the President of our local RMH. She was so passionate about her organization, and I loved it! I was explaining to her that many of the products I purchase are full-size, and their Wish List called for travel. She was so happy to begin receiving full-size because 55% of the families that stay in the houses have a child in the Neonatal ICU. This means that they are usually living in the RMH for months at a time. That being said, they can really run through a lot of travel size products.

Everything you see pictured above I was able to purchase for free -
with the exception of the loofahs and the ranch dressing.
Those were a quarter each.

I will be keeping you up to date on my runs to the RMH, and may even have a guest post soon.

I urge to you to use your frugal shopping for a good cause.
