My Walgreens Run 4/2

Sorry Guys! No more Luster coupons available!

Here's the scenario I did today. I actually did 2 transactions yesterday, and 2 today...but you could still do all 4 today if you have the time. This is a very basic way of "Rolling Register Rewards." You have to alternate your RRs because of the way Walgreens registers are set up. If you try buying the Colgate Toothbrushes & pay with your Colgate RR - no RR will print. It's because they are from the same manufacturer. Now, you can alternate by purchasing Colgate Toothbrushes, and paying with the Luster RR because they are made by different companies.

Since it's Saturday this deal will only be good through the end of the day today.

My Walgreens Run 3/31

Note: This run is part of the Walgreens Friends & Family event going on today, 3/31 only. You could still do the run on Friday or even Saturday, but you would omit the 15% discount from your math. Also, the Luster was not marked $5.99 at my store, nor did it have any sign about being an RR deal.. But it rang up right, and I got my $4 Register Reward.

P.S. Walgreens Store Coupons do not count towards your number of coupons used in a transaction. If you look at my original transaction, I have 8 items, but use 9 coupons. Again, the Walgreens store coupon does not count towards your total # of coupons. Be sure to give that 15% off coupon to the cashier first.

Let me know if you have questions.

*A Register Reward prints out at the register after you purchase the participating item in the ad. They are like cash, and you can use them on just about anything on your next trip to the store. There are some exceptions like: dairy, prescriptions, gift cards, postage etc. Check your RR for more exclusions. I use mine to buy toilet paper. I hate paying for toilet paper.

Walgreens: Fuzzy Sock Clearance!

Next time you're headed to your Walgreens look for your clearance section. Mine was located in the same aisle as the toys. They had a full section of clearance fuzzy socks, gloves, and scarves. The socks were priced at .99 (reg. $3.99), the scarves and gloves were $1.99, I believe. I love to stuff a pair or two of socks into a handmade gift basket, or Mother's Day gift.

P.S. Be sure they ring up correctly while you're at the register.
